Spreading the News

By the end of the first trimester most of the family, many friends and some co-workers were already well aware of the news. However, we kept the news off of social media and from my students until the beginning of the second trimester. Thanks to my friend Wendy who is a dynamite photographer, we had beautiful announcements and pictures to use to help spread the word. In the end I decided to tell my students by using the game Hangman; they all screamed with joy and every day since have been offering name suggestions (usually their own) along with constant questions about when I would start to show and what the baby's gender is.
